Landing Pages That Convert Paid Traffic

A landing page for Google or Meta ads should match the ad, make one offer, and load fast. Here is the structure Calgary businesses actually need.

Seal Grow

If you are paying for Google or Meta clicks in Calgary, the landing page has one job: repeat the ad, prove you can do the work, and make one next step obvious.

A homepage is not a landing page. A blog post is not a landing page. A page with five competing buttons is not a landing page.

This is the structure we use in landing page design.

The page, in order

Headline that matches the ad. If the ad said "furnace repair in Bowness," the H1 should not say "Welcome to our family-owned company."

One offer. Book a call, request a quote, or claim an audit. Not all three.

Proof early. Reviews, licences, years, photos of actual jobs. Not stock handshakes.

What happens next. "We call within one business day." Anxiety kills forms.

A short form or a click-to-call. Every extra field costs conversions. Collect the rest on the phone.

FAQ for objections. Price range, service area, timing. Three questions is enough.

A fast page. Paid traffic on a four-second page is lighting money on fire. See slow website fixes.

Running ads to the homepage today? That is the first thing we change. Request a landing page review.

Message match, in practice

Write the ad and the page in the same sitting. Same phrase, same city, same offer. If you change the ad next month, change the page or make a new one.

Do not reuse a generic "contact us" page for every campaign. It feels cheaper. It wastes spend.

What to leave off

The full company history. A slider. Auto-play video. A chat widget that covers the form. Navigation to every other service. Blog sidebars.

Those belong on the main website. The landing page is a hallway, not a lobby.

Tracking that makes the spend honest

You need to know which ad produced the call. That means a thank-you page, conversion events, and call tracking if the phone is the real conversion.

If you cannot see this in a report, you are buying clicks, not customers.

When one page is not enough

Different services and different cities deserve their own pages once spend is real. Two good pages beat ten thin ones.

SEO pages and ad pages can share facts, but they should not be the same URL if the intent is different.

Get a page built for the campaign

Send the ad copy you are running (or want to run) and the offer. We will quote a single page or a small set, with tracking included.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a landing page cost in Calgary?+

A single conversion-focused landing page — copy, design, form and tracking — typically costs $1,200 to $3,500 CAD depending on the offer and whether we also connect ads analytics. A small set of campaign pages is quoted as a package.

Should ads go to my homepage?+

Almost never. The homepage offers everything. The ad promised one thing. Send people to a page that repeats that promise, shows proof, and has one next step. Homepages leak paid traffic.

What conversion rate should I expect?+

It depends on the offer and the traffic. Local service ads to a tight page often convert in the mid-single digits to low teens. If you are under 2% with qualified traffic, the page or the offer is the problem — not 'needing more traffic.'
